In B.C., you can place pari-mutuel bets on live horse racing at licensed race tracks and teletheatres, which show live broadcasts of horse races run at local, national and/or international tracks.
The IGCO regulates horse racing in B.C. to ensure compliance with provincial legislation and regulations. Operators of race tracks and teletheatres must be licensed by the IGCO. Individuals working at race tracks and teletheatres must also be licensed to ensure that high standards of honesty and integrity are met across the industry.
